Donation part of Comcast’s partnership with city officials, community leaders and local academia to bridge the digital divide in Atlanta

Comcast donated 500 laptops to students in grades 3-7 at KIPP Vision Primary & Academy School in Atlanta. The donation was a part of a multi-day visit to Atlanta by Comcast EVP of Digital Equity and EVP of Public Policy Broderick Johnson, who met with educators, community partners and local leaders to discuss digital equity and the role Comcast can play.

The event at KIPP Vision Primary & Academy School is part of Project UP, Comcast’s 10-year, $1 billion pledge to advance digital equity through programs and community partnerships that connect people to the Internet, advance economic mobility, and open doors for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, storytellers and creators.
